Infertility is the inability of the partner to conceive. People have a myth that the problem basically occurs in women but biologically it has been witnessed that infertility is not a female factor, the problem may exist in any of the partner. Biologically infertility means inability of conception. Even after trying for a year couple is not able to conceive regardless of the cause and having a sexual intercourse without use of any contraceptives, it is termed as infertility. If the women keep having miscarriages it is also termed as infertility. Primary symptom of infertility is inability to conceive. Specific symptoms occur according to the cause of infertility and vary accordingly. Treatment of infertility depends on the age. Women upto 30 years of age should try by her own, to conceive for at least 1 year before going for any medication or treatment. Tests for infertility involve a complete medical history and physical examination of both the partners.

Women up to 30 years of age can conceive normally, it is after their 35 0r 40 when they start facing problems and can not get pregnant. Couple of less than 30 years of age having regular sexual intercourse, their chance of getting pregnant is about 25-30% per month.
