Father's Day
For someone to hug me when I cry,
For someone to love me as time goes by;
When I'm upset or feeling very sad,
To love me unconditionally,
Even when I'm bad;
For someone to help me learn and grow,
A special father who can't say no;
You have given this family love and kindness and mean so much;
To hug me and guide me when things get rough,
To love me and cherrish me you make me so glad;
I love you so much and thanks for being my dad!!!

I'm 23 years old, live in Carrara on the Gold Coast and I have 2 young children. I have always had a passion for writing poems; I feel words mean much more than anything in this world and expressing words to inspire others and make people look at life in another aspect and to be grateful for what they have is my aim.
