Why Should We Save Our Houses From Pets
“Every animal knows more than you do”, goes a common American proverb. Pets form an integral part of our life. They gradually become a part of our family and we accept them like a family member. As the pets start living with us, we become emotionally attached to them and it hurts us if anything happens to them. Our world comes to a standstill if any harm happens to them due to any unforeseen circumstances. Though having pets is an advantage but it has its demerits also. We should give our pets away so that so that they can get a good home to live with all the natural surroundings. Some owners do provide good homes but according to a recent survey, it is stated that 41 percent of owners have surrendered their pets so that they get a good home to live and enjoy their freedom of being. Another disadvantage of keeping pets is that they are likely to be abused. Animals especially pets are abused in a bad manner and even sometimes they are discarded from their homes. Animals play an important role in keeping the ecosystems balanced, strong and healthy. Just like beings, animals specially pets respond to imbalance with extreme behavior which can prove to be harmful for the house members and also to the environment. Animals should be allowed to live in their natural environment as it helps them to grow in a natural and healthy way. Sleeping alongside your pets can make an individual fall sick. Though it’s rare, but it does happen and affects our health in a negative way. Having a stuffed animal in your bed is fine but definitely not a real one. Keeping pets in your house causes life threatening diseases like plague and chagas disease. It ultimately leads to life threatening heart and digestive system disorders. There is also a threat of getting affected by a harmful disease due a cat or dog scratch. It’s not a good idea in getting licked or kissing your pets. According to researchers, it causes various infections which get transmitted between animals and humans. We get infected by various diseases if we keep pets in our home. Pets need regular inspection from specialist doctors which sometimes become a luxury for us and people tend to ignore it. Pets sometimes cause unnecessary disturbances for the family members. We have to get accustomed to its shouting and other bad habits which affect our peaceful sleep and our daily routine. We should not forget to wash our hands after playing with pets and it is essential to go for regular veterinary wellness visits for our pets. The benefits of having a pet might outweigh the negatives but it does cause a lot of harm which affects us in the long run. We should try our best to keep pets away from our houses as every living creature needs an environment according to their liking to grow in a healthy way.
