How To Create Massive And Irresistible Interest In Your Sales Page

by George W. Hutton

I saw something the other day that really blew me away. It was a neat trick that helped me to triple my sales without really doing much. I'll tell you about it in a minute. But first, I've got to show you this crazy thing that went down on the way to that one seminar.

The one where they teach you this illegal technique that will have people begging to buy your product.

Anyhow, I was walking down the street, and this really gorgeous woman walked up to me. She had this look on her face like she really needed to tell me something. Have you ever seen that look? Like there's something you've just got to get out before you forget about it?

So she's just about to tell me what looked to be the most exciting story ever when her friend, who was even hotter than her, ran up, grabbed her hand, and dragged her away.

I hate when that happens. You are sitting there, so excited, just about to hear some incredible news that you're sure will absolutely rock your world and then something happens.

After I finally caught up with them, they were in this one meeting room. It was like a cult. There was this really amazing guy up on stage, and they were all looking at him like they were in some kind of trance.

Like they were ready to do anything he asked.

He opened his mouth and everybody was transfixed, as if he were about to reveal the secrets of the universe when he stopped, looked and me and said:

Get Out!

I felt like I was in the Amityville Horror or something. I ran out faster than Usain Bolt being chased by a hungry cheetah.

Which brings me to the topic of this article. Always keep your reader on edge. Always make them hungry for more. In some circles of psychology, this is called, "building response potential."

It's like your reader will be sitting there on the edge of her chair thinking, "yea... yea.. and then... ?" Just waiting with baited breath, so excited about what's going to happen next.

One trick is to start a story, or promise something really incredible, and then break off halfway through, and start on something else. Technically, this is called, "opening loops." If you close them all during your story, then the reader will feel satisfied.

If you're reader is satisfied, then they won't click on the link at the bottom to find out how everything comes out. Know what I mean?
