Dieting a waste of everyone's time

Listen I know we've all been bombarded with the usual crap of use this diet secret and you will lose 20 pounds or use this diet and lose the fat. That is all rubbish there is no secret the best way is to eat from every food group which includes the dreaded carbs, fats, salt and sugar. The word to keep in mind is moderation.Firstly talking from experience I have tried a lot of different fad diets to lose weight. I have tried cutting all the carbs 'diet' eating only proteins but guess what it did not last for long. And surprise surprise when I stopped I regained twice the weight I had lost in the first place. My point is that 'diets' are not realistic they can not be maintained over a lifetime. Its too hard for most people to go through their life without eating cakes or rice.Secondly diets are not a healthy long term option. Lets presume by some miracle you maintain the no carb diet. How healthy is it exactly for our body never to eat carbs? According to scientists our body needs a multitude number of nutrients and carbohydrates are a necessity. Having no carbs is like trying to drive a car without fuel impossible right? That’s how its like depriving our bodies of carbs they are fuel for us and give us energy. Its alright in the short term but not feasible for the future.One all important element which makes diets unattractive is the fact that they take away the joy of eating tasty food which actually fills us up. We are humans and one of the pleasures in life is food the taste, the smell and how it feels when we are replete. With diets there are many food types cut out of the mix and this removes the wonderful variety of food to eat. Listen there’s too much joy in food to be cutting out the variety. Variety is the spice of life. Firstly use the food pyramid as a guide with fruits and veggies being the major part of what you consume and fats and sugars being the least, carbs to be eaten in moderation. This means that you are able to eat anything you want from yummy chocolate to cake the emphasis is moderation.Eat regularly don’t allow yourself to be soo hungry you are literally rolling on the ground before you eat, it just makes you stuff yourself. One of the most obvious advice which seems like common sense is get off your butt and move. People expect things to just happen whilst they are doing nothing. Well I am sorry to disappoint all the lazy people out there life doesn’t work that way. The funny thing is when people think of exercise they think pain. You don’t have to do something that you don’t like find an activity like dancing in the house to music or walking in the park to give you inspiration. Any activity which makes you work is good. Be creative people.There is a lot of 'diet secrets' out there but the secret is that THERE IS NO SECRET. Eat from all food groups eat in moderation and stay active.
