Dale City in Prince William County Virginia is an unincorporated community developed by real estate developer Cecil Don Hylton. The town has many attractions for its residents. Large Shopping Malls and parks dot the landscape of this town.
In Dale City, Virginia is the largest outlet mall in the United States. The Protomac Mills Mall is the second largest shopping mall in Northern Virginia attracting many shoppers. It is located at Interstate 95 between Smoketown Road, Prince William Parkway and Telegraph Road. Over 225 retailers sell their merchandise in the Protomac Mall premises. It is the most prominent among all Dale City attractions.
The Andrew Leitch Park is another place where residents and visitors spend their leisure time. The Waterworks Waterpark located within the area of the Andrew Leitch Park is a tourist attraction. The park has state-of-the-art swimming pools, slides, fountains and a beach area. The Park is maintained by the Prince William County Park Authority. The Sharron Baucom-Dale City Recreation Center is another attraction of the town. The center conducts fitness and aquatics classes for residents of the town.
The Lake Ridge Park which is at Woodbridge within close proximity to Dale City attracts many people. The park has a golf course where many enthusiastic golfers take a swing. The BMX racing track is another attraction of Prince William County, located at an accessible distance from Dale City. Many bikers both professionals and amateurs use the track to practice BMX racing. The town has enough attractions to help people spend their leisure time. Visitors who come on a visit to the town are always engaged in some recreational activities during their leisure time.
