Experience The Bosch Tassimo Coffee Maker Difference
Picture this: After the previous night's party, you groggily open your eyes, only to realize that you just slept through the whole morning and have only less than an hour left to head off to work. A speedy wash and a change of clothes, and you're out of the bedroom. You then decide to have a quick cappuccino before leaving the house. Your coffee brewer, however, is one of those clunky old models that demand copious amounts of programming just to get the perfect blend. How convenient it must be, you think to yourself, to have a coffee brewer that makes any kind of desired blend and never go through all the bother of programming it. If you know exactly what I'm talking about, then the Bosch Tassimo Coffee Maker is for you.
Tassimo coffee brewers, designed by Kraft Foods Inc. and manufactured by Bosch beginning August 2008, use proprietary T-Discs (Tassimo Discs). These T-Discs are essentially coffee pods with barcodes printed on them that enable the machine to automatically change its settings to provide you with that flawless blend you're thirsting for. An array of varieties, both in brand and in blend, are available in T-Disc form, ranging from Carte Noire's Expressos to Gevalia's Signature Blend Decaffeinated, with lots more blends available in the overseas market.
The way it operates is, you put the T-Disc on the disc holder, press down on disc holder's cover, push the button, and then enjoy your instant coffee/tea/latte/hot chocolate.
You may also opt to manually modify the strength and amount of coffee you get by pressing and holding on the button once the coffee maker is on standby mode; a very practical feature indeed.
Maintenance for the Bosch Tassimo Coffee Maker is quite easy as well. The unit includes a reusable cleaning disc which you use weekly. You will only need to put it in the coffee maker as you would any T-Disc. A soft damp cloth may be used to wipe the barcode reader clean. Also, the detachable parts are hand-washable and, apart from the water container, dishwasher-safe.
Three models of Bosch Coffee Maker Tassimo can be purchased: the Tassimo T20, which is the basic model; the Tassimo Suprema T45, which has a water filtration system and a more spacious water tank; and the Tassimo LCD T65, which includes a helpful LCD display and an attractive LED light for the cup stand.
