Large High Quality Watches Aren't Just for Men

The styles for high quality watches change often, especially when it comes to what it is in and what isn't. The interesting thing that has been happening over the last few years is women embracing mens styles. From wearing actual mens styles to companies coming up with menswear styles that are more catered to women, it's becoming a pretty popular choice in wrist wear.

The idea of women wearing menswear styles isn't anything new. There has been a resurgence in it lately, with oxfords, boyfriend jeans and high waisted pants coming back into style. Even oversized blazers have made their mark as a staple in many women's closets as a more casual piece, not just for work.

So it doesn't seem too far fetched that women would be wearing high quality watches in mens styles. When choosing a watch, there's a lot of variety because women can essentially pick from all of the mens styles that already exist. Though in general these watches are sized larger, often times bands can be adjusted to fit smaller wrists. The faces of these watches are naturally larger, which is the kind of style that women want when going for the masculine choices.

There are also brand name watches for women that have a taste of masculine style, but are purposely made to work and fit better for women. The bands are made to adjust better and with less over all circumference length. They aren't quite as big and bulky as a regular mens watch, so it depends on if the woman wants something more subtle or to really wear a genuine masculine style. It's really going to fall on preference.

If you aren't sure if the woman you are buying for would like that particular style or not, check out the rest of her wardrobe. If she embraces oxfords and loafers into her wardrobe and doesn't mind the occasional looser style of shorts, she'd probably love a larger mens watch. But if all else fails, ask! Just don't make it too obvious you are asking for a gift. Bring up the topic of women wearing menswear into conversation and she'll be sure to give you an opinion either way.

Embracing these and other high quality watch styles are a great way to spruce up the wardrobe. Even when you don't know how to change things up, a great watch can really turn it around. And women always love an extra accessory that they hadn't thought of before!
