Faux leather outfits are a sound club wear choice
It's Friday or Saturday night and you're getting ready for some fun, so what's your favorite <b>club wear</b>? Slacks and blouse? A faux leather pleated mini skirt with a belly-top? The point is to get noticed, right?
The selection of acceptable club wear has certainly changed in recent years. Where elegant dresses once ruled, super short minis and form fitting slacks now abound.
Where a classy, dainty necklace with matching ear rings used to rein supreme, choker collars and nose-rings now appear. Two inch high heels are now demure and tame while Combat Boots have become prevalent.
The club scene has nearly cycled to the point where those who wouldn't be caught dead at a hot spot once upon a time are now the main stream players there.
But still, the reasons for going out have remained the same. To have fun, to socialize, meet new people and of course...to be noticed.
So, back to your favorite club wear. 2008 is turning into the year of faux leather outfits. Everything from pants and tops to skirts and even lingerie; faux leather fashions are selling like crazy at retail outlets.
Even at a time when overall retail sales are slumping due to a slow economy, faux leather product sales are on the rise.
And why not? They look great on everyone and are a better choice for the environmentally minded consumer over real leather.
Faux leather outfits tend to be slimming which is great for hiding a few extra pounds, they draw attention in a crowd and are very comfortable to wear, unlike real leather which is usually stiff and doesn't allow your skin much ventilation.
And the last--and perhaps best--reason faux leather club wear is such a good choice is in the pricing. I personally love faux leather outfits and can purchase 3 to 5 whole outfits for the price of a single pair of real leather pants, so it's really a no-brainer for me. When I'm headed out on the town it'll be my first choice in club wear.
