Time to take it easy

This is how I say Hi to my customers that I have been dealing with for 15 years. They know that I like to play golf and that I have 14 grandkids and 5 great grand kids, and I know a lot about them.
I have been a salesman all my life. I have spent a lifetime learning my craft and I am finally learning my trade.
So I decided to make money on-line.
When I decided to start my business on the internet I thought it would be easy, Right. Just get a web site. Then tell people about it, and viola instant fame.
So two years ago that's I what I did, I bought a web site builder, an editor.
Two days later I had a web site that said. Here is my web first site.
This is not going to be that easy this is just my first page.
I need another page. Let's see, one about me, then a product page. and a order page and on and on.
I am 62 years old I can do this, right. I start spending so much time on-line trying to get this going that my sales started dropping at my job, but that's all right because I am going to make my money on the inter net. "While I sleep"
OK all I have to do is get some help, here's one. How to make 58,000 in one week. Ok that's what I want to do.
One week later. I can't even read the blueprints. What is cig, peril, ftp, man what is hosting
Buy books and buy programs and more books and programs then try to understand them. I bought so many that some got lost on my computer.
OK I am learning, I need a web site builder pay them and they will build my money making site.
What do you mean you want me to pay more for these changes. It's only the 10th time that I changed my mind.
You see I bought another ebook and it said that this Groundbreaking idea would make more money, so I e-mailed my web designer, and made the changes. By this time they wouldn't answer the phone.
I woke up one morning with the greatest Idea.. Every one said that the affiliate programs, are were the money Is to be made.
Ok build the worlds greatest affiliate site.
I talked to designers man what a great idea. Let's do it only 450 pages we will do each page for 130.00 that is below my cost, but maybe you can cut us in on the profit. Let's see 450 times 130 = 60,000 too much. Ouch.
We will cut it down a bit. Ok lets start with 100 pages . I will need 175.00 per page that is cheep for the greatest affiliate site in the world. Oh boy. Cash in my 401k.
What do you mean that won't work. Ok I will send you another 500 now make work. I am signing up for all of these affiliate programs. Were is that password or was it user name.
Man that sounds good, I need that one there is the missing piece lets change the site just a little. Ok I will send you another 500.
I am spending too much money on this project. I have an idea, let's go 50/50 you do the site and I will supply the -the- Ideas?
So that didn't work.
Them my girlfriend ran away with my computer. I lost it all, all of my books and programs that I bought. My editor that I can't use but worst of all. all of my affiliate usernames and passwords.
That was two years ago. I hope that I have learned something. This time I am going to do it slower. I am going to learn to do it myself. I will make mistakes but that will be ok.
I met a man. Stone Evans he set me up an affiliate site free. It is a great affiliate site. He told me to go get a domain name and he would put my domain name on my site. I got www.buildyournetbiz.com Two days later I get an email your site is set up.
Then he tells me when someone signs up on my site he will By auto responder get a news letter from me every week, for the next 360 days telling them all about the terrific programs that I offer and I will get Paid. I have 5 of the top selling programs on the internet.
I have signed up on my site just to get my own newsletters. Man I am a good writer I am they have my name on them and all.
Now He says here is a book that gives you a 30 day plan. You do This and you will not only have fun but you will start to see Improvement in yourself and you will see people at your site.
