Dirt Devil ATV Tires - A Tire With Bite

by Tim Bock

The Dirt Devil ATV tire is an aggressive tire designed for a sharp bite and sure traction in mud, hard-packed or loose terrain. This innovative v-pattern tread ensures first rate forward traction in mixed terrains and promotes its own leaning under all conditions. At 22 to 28 inches tall, with a 5/8 inch tread depth, these tires offer excellent handling and represent superior value for demanding conditions. Dirt Devil offers twenty different models of ATV tires; from the 23x10x10; through the 23x8x10; 23x8x11; the 24x10x11; the 24x11x10; the 24x8x11; the 24x9x11; through to the 25x10x11, 25x12x10, the 25x12x9, the 25x8x11, and the 25x8x12. The top of the Dirt Devil ATV tire line is the 26x10x12, the 26x12x12, the 27x10x12, the 27x12x10, the 27x12x12, the 28x0x12, and finally the 28x12x12. As a result of field text, one user who mounted 25" GBC Dirt Devil AT tires on a 2003 Kawasaki Prairie 650 found "good results." In full, this user reported: "I am very impressed at how well these tires do in the sand compared to stock. I have no trouble without going anywhere that I want to without worry about getting stuck trying to climb a dune. The GBC Dirt Devil Tires do very well in hard pack and gravel conditions up to about 40-45 MPH. I noticed that riding at high speeds (50-64) the Dirt Devils get a little light footed and wander just a little bit. Compared to stock there is not much difference at the higher speeds on hard pack conditions. I was confident enough in these tires to stop on a hill that is mostly hard pack with a little gravel and loose dirt on it. I had no problems getting going again and even brought up the front end."
