Start Making Money Online Without Any Cash Part 2 of 2

In part 1 of this series, I covered determining the theme of your Internet business as well as getting a free website, adding content, and placing ads. In this article, I will cover the other items needed to start making money online without any cash.

After setting up your website, you need an autoresponder. An autoresponder automatically sends out messages to the subscribers on your list. This may not seem like a priority to you now, but once you get 100’s of subscribers on your list, you will see that it is an absolute necessity. Do a search for ‘free autoresponder’ and set up an account with the company that you choose. (Get Response and Aweber are the two biggest autoresponder companies and both of them offer some sort of free trial service.) Create a sign in page through your autoresponder and upload it to your site. This is a page where visitors will enter their name and email address to subscribe to your list. Get several related free give away items for subscribers on your list. You can easily find free programs by doing a search. Make sure your sign in page is attractive and gives your visitors a good reason to subscribe to your list.

Choose 2 affiliate products that are related to your niche. ClickBank is a good source for affiliate products, they offer over 10,000 of them. Register with ClickBank and find 2 suitable products. Look for 1 product that sells for 10 to 20 dollars and another product that sells for 25 to 50 dollars. Make sure that they are high quality products and offer good value for the money.

Now comes the hard part, promote, promote, promote. Traffic is the lifeblood of your business. It is how you make money. If you enjoy writing like I do, write 1 to 3 articles every day and submit them to the 25 largest article directories. Add 3 links to each article; insert 1 link to the sign in page of your site, and a link to each of your affiliate products. This can be a very powerful marketing technique. Also, use forums, free ezine ads, free classified ads, and email to promote your site and products. Talk to other website owners about putting their ads on your site and visa versa.

When you make your first $10, do not use it to go out and celebrate. Use that money to buy a good domain name that is related to your site. With the next $20 you make, arrange for a paid autoresponder. You will surprised at how much better the paid version is. On your next $50, arrange for paid web hosting. At this point, you have everything you need to run a real business. Yes, it is a bare bones start, but you have the necessities.

Then, with every monthly profit of $1000 or less, commit half of the net profit to paid advertising. Advertise to build your list. This is the surest way to guarantee your long term success. By doing this every month, you have successfully started making money online using their money. With any profits in excess of $1000, go out and celebrate, you earned it!
