Can I work at home... Have a home based business??People ask this question every day.YES!!.. In today's internet economy people can work from home!As one wise person, Tom Peters, once said... "business is about making things and selling things. It's also about people."So I guess by that general definition, if you're a person and you're selling something, you can make money at home. :)I've started a few businesses in my days as an entrepreneur and I see the same patterns happen over and over again with home based business owners. In order to work at home, you have to overcome certain obstacles. For every individual these obstables are different. They depend on your self-motivation level, you knowledge of business and computers, your product knowledge and just how interested you are in making your home based business work. One of the main reasons that people give up working from home is discouragement. Reasonably speaking, if you're starting cold into a home based business, you have to give yourself time to learn about business and why people buy things and why your product is valuable. The first few years I worked at home with my own home based business, I spent more time than I wanted just figuring out the nuts and bolts of working out of my home. There were many days I invested in learning how to work with banks, suppliers, customers, accounting, planning etc. These nuts and bolts things took away from my time out selling but I knew I had to learn the fundamentals in order to maintain my work at home situation over the long term.I could have been discouraged with all of the small, nitty gritty things I had to learn, but I knew that they were part of the fun of having my own home based business.I have worked at sometimes for 25ยข while I was setting up the structure of my business. I had to spend the time setting up the infrastructure in order to make the business grow. A home based internet business is the same way.. There is a time investment that you've got to factor in in order to be successful over the long haul.WANT TO EARN MONEY AT HOME?A fundamental lesson that I learned many years ago was this... If you want to earn $30,000 a year from home, you need to build an infrastructure to carry $30,000 per year sales and income. If you want to earn $100,000 a year from home, you need to build an infrastructure to carry $100,000 per year sales and income.. If you earn $100,000 and only have an infrastructure that will hold $30,000 in sales, your system will soon crash. You won't be able to handle the extra sales for long.I am in the process of writing a home based business course, http://www.express-marketing.com/home-based-business.html, to help people who want to work at home and develop and internet business. This course is absolutely FREE OF CHARGE and I feel that it will help you if you're brand new to working at home.FREE OF CHARGE - What's the catch?
