The Death Of Keyword Analysis: A Tube Sniper Pro Tale
Video marketing is quickly becoming the 'new' article marketing! If you haven't ever started a video marketing campaign, don't fret! It isn't as hard as it may seem, you just need to understand a few key principles when choosing your niche or topics. Unfortunately, there is tons of information flying around out there it can be confusing as to where to even start. I am going to share with you a couple of EASY to understand steps you can do to start a successful video marketing campaign today. Soon you will be on your way to higher search rankings and higher profits!
When I first got started using video marketing to benefit my own marketing strategies, I invested hundreds on my training and spent weeks studying from the experts. I left no stone unturned when it came to learning about video marketing. And today, after 5 years of internet marketing experience I have successfully incorporated video marketing into my SEO and traffic generation strategies to profit over and over again. Now let's get to the 'meat' and learn a little more!
The first step to setting up a successful video marketing campaign is choosing the right keywords to target. Easier said then done? Not really. It can actually be quite simple! You need to choose your topic or niche. Now type your keyword into a search engine. Look at the top 10 results. You only need to pay attention to a couple areas. How many of the top 10 have your keyword in their domain name? If there are at least two that do not, you are golden. Out of those with the keyword in the url, look at how many of the top 10 have your keyword as a subdomain. A subdomain is url/subdomain. If there are 2 that only have your keyword as the subdomain, you have an advantage. Finally, when you look in the description of the top 10 urls, how many of them list your keyword? If at least 2 don't, that is another positive. Now if your keyword passes at least two out of the three tests just mentioned, you have a good keyword.
Now we'll want to know how competitive the keyword is. This is a bit more challenging to do manually. We essentially did a competition analysis in the step above. But we need to dig a little deeper. At the top of the search page you will find a link titled videos for you to click. Now perform the same analysis as you did above. Does the top 10 videos have your keyword in the title and description? If at least two don't, you have an inside into the top 10. But your goal with video marketing is to get your videos into the top rankings for your keyword, ideally into the top 3. I suggest you use software or tools that evaluate specific categories like video views and video likes to give you further insight into a competitive edge for your video marketing efforts.
Video marketing simply boils down to choosing the right keywords to build your campaigns around. To do this you need to have insight to what keywords get traffic and are competitive. We can do a lot of this evaluation manually, but there are a lot of great tools available that are very cost effective compared to the amount of time it would take for you to research everything yourself. If video marketing never crossed your mind as a viable option, you should definitely reconsider and start right now. You'll be amazed at how quickly it works and how positive it can be to your bottom line!
