When An Associate And I Purchased An Investment Property, We Needed To Find Some NJ Carpet Stores
When I was beset by a difficult carpet problem, I learned that NJ carpet stores online were a great place to find help. An old acquaintance had approached me and suggested that we join forces and make money investing in real estate. After planning everything out in meticulous detail, we decided that we would buy an apartment building, a rather bold plan, if I do say so myself. The building we had in mind was a modestly sized complex in a section popular with students. This was a sound investment in our sleepy little college town where the kids in college had to live within a certain radius of the university and our place was right in the middle of that radius.
We made our final financial discussions and purchased the building, first having an inspector go through and make certain that it was sound. First, we had to paint the walls and fix a few holes that previous student tenants had left in the sheetrock. We are clever businesspeople and knew that the promise of free food would get all of the people we knew down to the building to help us paint. When everyone went home, we took a look at the walls and were very contented with the results of everyone's work.
The apartments that students rent in our town tend to be fully furnished and the furniture that was in the building was pretty crummy. We started making trips to the used furniture shops and furniture warehouse clearance sales in order to hunt down the best furniture bargains. When we finally got all of the furniture assembled and replaced the old soiled mattresses with new ones, we were left with only one problem: carpets.
The carpets had been thoroughly used in their time with students and all sorts of fluids and foods had been spilled on them. I had no idea what most of the stains and spots were, but was not disposed in any way to test them by taste or smell. We were in dire need of decent NJ carpeting that wouldn't be overly expensive since our investment money was sorely depleted at that point. I was concerned, but my business partner did a quick internet search and turned up some NJ carpet stores that turned out to be perfect for our situation. The carpets were delivered and put in place and before long our apartment was filled with great tenants.
