Everybody wants to have a house, apartments, villa, club house either facing the river or near the sea shore. If not a house, they want to have a farm land each having fruit bearing saplings with other features like; a silent valley looking like a natural paradise; not spoiled by deforestation and urban development; attractive and greenish organic landscape preserved by the irrigation; solar powered street lights; avenue plantation and nature walk pathway; for overlooking scenic surroundings a watch tower; attractive giant resort; arena built in lines of Balinese style of architecture; large organics farm that grows paddy, finger millet, sunflower etc. However, it is a surprise that many land owners or house owners are found to be giving not much importance in keeping the drainage system well maintained and leakage free. In fact a drainage system is as important as anything else. It is the responsibility of the owners, builders and farm owners to understand the usefulness of a drainage canal and the purpose for which it is built up in every dwelling.
Drainage pipes are being used to carry the waste water from the kitchen, toilets and bath rooms to the drainage tanks. However, in case of blocked drains, necessary remedial measures are to be taken immediately without any lapse of time. As everybody know that any delay in allowing the waste water stagnating in the drainage pipes for a long time will jeopardize the interests of the owners, residents and neighbors. Apart from the above in case of residents, they may take a decision to vacate the house which in turn will be a loss to the owner. More than the income point of view, the stagnating drainage water will be responsible for various kinds of diseases.
