Promote fitness as a lifestyle through promotions, programs, products and services to his participants.Continuously motivate their clients with positive feedback. Aim for and achieve the goals set by their clients.
By passing the certification exam, this will give you an advantage towards other instructors. With this certification, it proves that you aren't only a knowledgeable and skillful trainer, but you are also equipped with the right tools to create a safe, fun and effective fitness classes, whatever the technique.
This would incorporate the following:
Anatomy, Kinesiology Exercise Physiology, Instructional Techniques, Class Design, Cueing, Injury Prevention
Different Types of Group Fitness Classes
There are many different types of Group Fitness Classes that a Cerified Group Fitness Instructor can teach at the local gym. Some classes include:
Zumba, Boot Camp, Spinning, Pilates, Yoga, Total Body Conditioning
Most group fitness classes are included in a gym membership. These classes are designed to assist individuals with their personal fitness goals and some can be designed as great low-impact class for all fitness levels.
