Party Games That Will Entertain The Entire Family
Game night should be something that the entire family enjoys. This means the party games should be easy enough for the younger kids, but a challenge enough to keep the attention of the older kids.
Uno is universal game that not only will entertain the entire family but also teaches education skills to the younger kids. Some of the things they learn is matching, colors, numbers, and reading. Everyone is entertained by the challenge of getting the right cards to be able to win the game by getting rid of all theirs first.
Another game that entertains the family is Old Maid. It becomes more challenging when more then two people are play. This makes it harder to figure out how have the matches you need. A game similar to this that deals with matches without the maid is Go Fish.
Other games like shoots and ladders, snakes and ladders, and candy land all are games of chance. There is age or skill level advantage with these games the cards or spinners have total control over the outcome of the game. The excitement comes in when you are worried about landing on a shoot or ladder that cause you to go back or landing on a square that makes you go back.
Always try to have games that are age appropriate; for instance strategy games like chess and checkers will appeal to older children or even adults.
Some games just never go out of style; B.I.N.G.O. for instance will enter the entire family. This party game comes in so many different forms its hard for the family not to have one that fits everybody playing. To really keep things interesting you have baskets or treats as prizes that is won during the game.
Active games like tag or hide and seek are all games the family will enjoy. Sometimes people rent carnival games or inflatable's that provide party games that can be enjoyed by the family. Some inflatables have relay races on them and others have basketball shoots and other games of the sort.
Charades and other games of that type are always entertaining for the whole family.Even if the kids can't draw the picture or complete the gestures they can still guess and this makes then part of the game.
Want to get the party going; try a treasure hunt game. The way to keep the treasure hunt interesting is to have different list according to age groups. If there is going to be kids you can't read yet their list would have pictures of the things they are supposed to find. Another way to separate the skill level while playing the same game is by changing the way the things that need to be found are listed. Make the game interesting and engaging for different age groups. Kids may be given pictures as clues while adults have to piece together their clues to find the ultimate treasure.
