Elleair Golf Club - One of Maui's best resort/public values. New designs on several formally awkward holes have improved the playing quality. Added GPS for quick yardage and faster play is also available. Elleair is great for average golfers but challenging for experience players.
Classic golf courses are also available starting with the Kaanapali Royal North Course that opened in the early 1960's.
The redesigned Kaanapali Kai: South Course offers golfer new greens and tee boxes. With its southern location in Kaanapali it can be windy on the North Course but calm on the South. The Kaanapali Sugar Cane Train route runs along the area giving train riders an opportunity to wave to the golfers.
Kahili Golf Club - Kahili is a hillside course on the south slopes of the West Maui Mountains in the Waikapu area, near Maalaea Bay. New Tif Eagle greens, white sand bunkers, and GPS equipped golf carts make this golf course a pleasurable experience for golfer at any level.
One of the more interesting and difficult courses is the Wailea Gold Course.
