Game of Numbers

In this day and age, when we try to look around our surroundings, we can see that it is all about numbers. We can see money everywhere from stock options, bank accounts and many more which are securely stuck in what I believe is one of the worlds strongest forces---numbers.

In the last century, banks have grown in an unprecedented manner. The prices associated with commodities have risen. If one knew about the recent economic collapse, they one can construe which there was a dramatic lack of money, in the form of numbers and a loss of value of a lot of stocks, still in the form of numbers.

Thus, it may be safe to say that amounts make the world go round.

For career individuals, numbers come in so many forms. It may arrive as the score in the recent performance evaluation or it may arrive as the annual increase that the whole field force was waiting for. To a student, that magic of a number may come because the one that draws the line between the passing of the failing mark or better yet, the one number that adds up for the cum laude quality. To the surgeon, that number may be the values of the white blood cellular or the hematocrit before and after the surgical procedure. To the president would-be of the United States, the number may be the votes that could spell victory to becoming the worlds most powerful man.

The world is not insulated from the numbers online game. The acceleration due to gravity is expressed in number form and it tells us how fast falling objects would be, given the law of gravity as its primary pulling pressure. Light itself cannot escape the numbers game as fastest traveler, which is 186,000 miles/second, is expressed in numbers too. The earths revolution around the sun and its orbit is also expressed within numbers and even other planetary actions are expressed in amounts.

This is amazing to me and put me into much thought and contemplation and then I began to realize that even the Bible is also conjoined in this numbers game, ought to be fact, there is a book in the Bible dedicated to this numbers game, the book called Numbers. In other words, even the maker of the universe is actually himself also the author of the amounts game.

So, this might be something that we all should learn to live with. The world revolves around a numerical construction and everything that we see around us is actually a summation of millions and an incredible number of a lattice of atoms and molecules knitted collectively by a force so majestic to comprehend and understand; the force that's in itself, the trinity.
