Will you choose to be a winner or a loser?

by Mel Trudgett

Scientists have proven that those of us who think of ourselves as 'lucky' or 'a winner' are actually no luckier than people who think that they are unlucky.

However, the positive and optimistic outlook of those that believe they have luck is proven to make them more successful - which is a different thing altogether but even better than luck, because it means that they are controlling their good fortune.

In other words, it's NOT luck or chance at all; it is their positive mindset that helps them to achieve all of the things in life that lead them to believe that they are 'lucky'.

This ends up going in a circle because the more 'luck' they feel that they have, the more it reinforces to their brain that they are 'lucky' and so the process continues.

Unfortunately it also works the other way too. People who tend to think 'I always have bad luck' or 'nothing good ever happens to me' have a negative and pessimistic mindset and they are less successful at getting what they want. Mainly because they give up if it doesn't happen for them first time.

This negativity seeps into ALL areas of your life, and the more negative you are, the more negativity you will attract to you and so the cycle continues.

So...what are you?

Lucky or Unlucky? Positive or Negative? A Winner or Loser?

The good news is if you are negative you can change.

Unfortunately, it is not as easy as just 'positive thinking' as the part of the brain that you consciously think with is only a very small part of the puzzle - but by taking a few simple steps, it CAN be done.

Although being successful isn't always about winning (sometimes it's actually just about taking action, rather than doing nothing!) a pattern has emerged from the world's most successful people.

They never give up.

They may use all of the steps from the Law of Attraction or they may have their own route to success, but one thing they all have in common is that successful people never give up on their goals.

And here is the difference between winning and losing....

When something goes wrong or they get knocked down; winners change their game plan rather than just giving up. They try something else or they have a 'plan b', but they DON'T abandon their plans altogether.

So we can learn from this that determination and dedication is key to success, but if you look at all of the world's most successful people one thing becomes very clear - when the going gets tough, they do the things that others aren't prepared to do (take a risk) or they do the things that the masses haven't thought of (the unexpected) but one thing they do when their plans don't really work out is to change their plans!

This sounds so obvious, but how many times have you given up on a goal because it didn't work out for you first time?

One thing is for sure, successful people never give up on their plan, even if the 'plan' changes a little.

So if your plans aren't working or you are not getting the results that you wanted, try changing your game plan and the path that you are currently on, but never give up on your goals and think yourself to success.
