Why affiliate marketing e-books usually fail to deliver

I’ve read most e-books out there on affiliate marketing, and I’ve paid some pretty high prices for most of them. Yet I’m still not a millionaire, I’m still working a day job like the rest of the world.

Every single one promised me great overnight wealth, a roadmap to success or a fool proof system to the big paying keywords. So why am I not in my house by the beach drinking a fruit drink as I type this?

I looked over the books again and wrote out my game plan as they gave it to me. Step by step I planned every little niche, researched every keyword, studied every ad idea and prepared to go back into the battle.

It ended the same way the rest of my campaigns have. A few clicks, maybe one sale, and a big adwords bill.

That’s when I started to analyze why these books are failing me.

Sometimes I had questions with no answers. There would be points that confused me no matter how many times I read them over. If you’ve tried affiliate marketing you know that sometimes it’s very difficult to find help. Everyone guards their secrets and tricks carefully, no matter how “tell all” their books claim to be. I would get frustrated and skip a step.

Other times I had an ethical problem with the techniques they were pushing. I don’t like the idea of forcing people to give me their email addresses then pounding them with sales emails. I don’t like the idea of making money online by re-selling the same flawed product I paid for. The worst of the worst in my opinion though are the MLM (Multi Level Marketing) programs. To me these bordering on scams with no actual product actually changing hands.

Just as I was giving up on finding a program that worked and met my ethical standards I heard about Jeremy Palmer.

Jeremy Palmer made over a million dollars last year using affiliate marketing, and he did it without email lists, without selling money making e-books (other than the one he wrote) and without using MLM’s.

I ran out and got his e-book, Quit Your day Job but was disappointed as it left me full of questions and without a clear path. Like most other books, it seemed like he was keeping his best secrets to himself. I was back to floundering around in the affiliate marketing world.

Imagine how excited I was when I hear that on September 25th he was releasing his entire business plan, not as an e-book, but as a full system to help anyone be as successful as he was.

The program is called Million Dollar Affiliate and I’m anxiously awaiting more details on the program as the launch gets closer. Please visit my web page if you would like more information.
