TEETH WHITENING - FOR A BRIGHT WHITE SMILE

by Tom Lave

Oof !! Wish I had such sparkling white teeth as her !!!Do you often find yourself saying this?, if the object of your inspiration is on TV or is some actor in some movie then you should understand that it is all the magic of special effects - digital touch up or due to dental crowns called caps. These are unnatural activities and are not practical in real life. However do not get disheartened, help is just round the corner... at your friendly neighbourhood dentist. The most effective and the safest method is dentist dispensed-tray bleach (whitening) method. There are many over the counter treatments but these might prove hazardous. Even the experts do not give their approvals to over-the-counter, non-supervisional treatments. The Tray-bleach treatment under the supervision of dentist consists of 10 carbamide peroxide. The whitening process is monitored, and its side effects are controlled. As the name suggests a tray is prepared after taking the x-ray of your teeth structure. The treatment is in two phases - upper and lower. The tray is filled with a bleaching agent called carbamide peroxide. The filled tray has to be fitted on the teeth. The tray is designed in such a way so that there is minimal exposure to the gums. As the exposure of this chemical causes some kind of irritation. The first step taken by the dentist, before you start the teeth whitening (bleaching) treatment is finding what has brought about the staining of your teeth. This will decide on the duration of the treatment and ultimately the cost. All teeth have a uniform base colour. The shade of white of our teeth varies from person to person. It's all His creation; some people's teeth are naturally lighter than others. Factors which makes the teeth loose its 'God given' colour are : •Amount of exposure you have to "chromogenic agents" such as tea, coffee, colas, red wine, and tobacco products. These respond better to whitening (bleaching) treatments and take less time than others •Frequent intake of certain types of medicines like antibiotic tetracycline as well as minocycline and doxycycline. Excessive amount of fluoride exposure on children's teeth during the period of their teeth development also affect the hue of the teeth. These require more exposure of bleaching chemicals than the first factor.•Accidents which cause trauma on tooth or teeth may also cause single or some teeth turn darker than others. Teeth or tooth also get a darker shade, if a root canal operation has been done on it or them. These are most difficult to treat and often are resistant to bleaching. •Darker tooth staining can also occur due to person's smoking or tobacco chewing habits. These are most stubborn and require more time than all others. The dentist will inspect the progress from time to time and decide on further course of action.Yes, you too can wear a sparkling smile, which you had always desired and be an inspiration to others.Visit http://www.billig-tandblekning.com/
