The construction field offers opportunity to advance from laborer to job supervisor with experience in using computers to track timelines and tasks, interpret CAD (computer aided design) plans drawn up by architects and engineers, and financial management within the job's budget. Learn to swing a hammer and use a saw, but don't neglect the education you'll receive by attending computer training school as well.
Computers are here to stay and are relevant in every aspect of today's working world. The best chances for attaining a job you love, regardless of whether you plan to work with your hands, are enhanced with some computer and Internet savvy.
