Blocked Frontal View -Traffic Jam.
Changing lane in difficult- to- see situations.
Most of us drive cars everyday and get into a traffic jam whilst on our journey to where ever we are going. When the vehicle in front is a passenger vehicle with its rear screen not blocked with a foldable sun screen, you can see through to assess the traffic condition further ahead. But what happens if it is a SUV, an small utility lorry or a bus which completely blocks your view. You need to change lane to get ahead but do not know if the next lane is free for you to make a move. If you are the only occupant in your car you cannot see what is on the next lane (ie. if your are driving on the right hand side of your car and want to move to the left lane or vice verse). My idea is to put a small view camera on the front of the left side view mirror and images picked up of the front left traffic can be viewed on a video screen in front of the driver. After the driver decides to make a change, he can switch off the screen . An useful tool in any situation.
