Toronto is a very metropolitan city and most do not really know just how fabulous this spot can be to take a vacation. Toronto is located on the northwest bank of Lake Ontario and is distinctly identified by the CN (Canada’s National) Tower from across the lake. This structure stands as the world’s tallest at 553 meters. Toronto is regarded as the commerce center of Canada but there is much more to it when it comes to a place to vacation.
Toronto is an ethnically diverse city—in fact Toronto is the most diverse city in Canada. Any time you have this type of diversity you can bet that you will find many different restaurants serving up cuisine from across the world. If you are one who likes to eat then just this alone will be a treat when you visit Toronto. There are many other things to do and see here as well. There are operas, bands, and concerts in the city especially in the summertime to entertain you with any type of music you desire. There are helicopter rides to Niagara Falls, There are museums and even scheduled walking tours. In fact the walking tours seem to be very a cheap way to get an enjoyable look at Toronto. There is even a medieval castle downtown known as Casa Loma that has a rich history and very affordable tours.
Like any visit to a large city, you will have to look for the best deals for tickets, tours, eating, hotels, and entertainment but in a city with this much available you have a lot to choose from.
