All Things Kids
Planning your child's party shouldn't be a stressful event. But in this day and age with so many parents working so hard just to make ends meet it seems parents are stressing more and more about parties.
Children are easy. You don't have to rent the biggest and the best place or go broke. Have the party at home. You know what makes a party??? The memories.
You don't have to be a creative genius either. There are recipes out there for home made cakes that your kids will love and will be the hit of the party.
Party games don't have to be elaborate either. One favorite is, you take balloons, fill them with some candy and dollar store small toys, blow them up, and get the kids to sit on them to try to break them. This is something children find absolutely hilarious and takes a good deal of time as well. Another great party game is making a mummy. This one involves toilet paper. You break the party up into teams. Each team picks one person to make a mummy out of and they have to wrap the person in toilet paper. The first team to finish wins. I can tell you that this one causes alot of laughing and giggling.
It's time we take the "got to be better than the Jone's" out of the equation and just make memories that are fun and last forever for our children. Children don't require that we spend a fortune on them. They just want to be special.
