Hyundai EON - Stylish Leap

Now, after the boom that Hyundai made in India with Hyundai Santro for a start, it has gathered a huge number of attentions towards its every new product. With Shahrukh Khan as the brand ambassador, there is no point to think about the amount of publicity it captures with its advertisements. Hyundai EON is the fourth infant from Hyundai’s cradle that saw its sunshine with a big bash in India. It is a hatchback with basic configuration that has the touch of fresh technical innovation. A low priced car loaded with edge-off features and integrity. Hyundai EON price is kept as low as Rs 2.69 Lakh for the low end variant. With such an affordable price, it can be judged to give tough blows to the cars that are rated below Rs 3 Lakh and mainly to the Maruti small cars as they are few of Maruti’s car models that have global exposure.

It is aired that Hyundai EON’s patent has been finalized after four years after going through list of researches to make it a customers’ want, at least as per the preferences of the car enthusiasts in India, basically the mid-sectioned crowd. The matter of fascination towards this small car is its benevolent mileage delivery of 21.1 kmpl by the 814 cc engine. A handsome power thrust of 56 Bhp is easily acquired by it.

Initially, this car had 5 variants, but in 2012 3 new variants are added namely D-Lite plus, Era plus and Eon Magna plus. As these three new variants are overloaded with more new features and functionality, they are priced some bucks more than the older versions that were launched in 2011. These variants adapt themselves with the LPG kit too. This makes this car not only economic but also eco-friendly. LPG factor will attract the customers towards it at this prime time as the concerns towards the fuel price rise are an issue that is yet unsorted in India. Fuel capacity is enlarged with 32 litre of petrol and for the LPG it is upgraded to 34 litres. To tempt the buyers, 2 years warranty is also introduced with Hyundai EON.

Hyundai EON does not look much different than Hyundai i10 but takes the pie by its incredibly small size yet spacious architecture. New Hyundai EON is also maintaining the company’s new Fluidic cuts for its body similar to the designs of other Hyundai cars. EON, looks more like Hyundai Verna Fluidic from front and Hyundai i10 from rear. If its pick up is improved then this car can be a hit in future.
