Reduce Household Water Costs With Pumps

by Martin Hofschroer

With the growing cost of energy, hot water circulation and pressure boosting costs can quickly mount up. As we move to a more ecologically and economically friendly society the popularity of energy saving pumps is fast on the rise.

Energy efficient pumps and pressure sets will not only help lower the bills, they will quickly pay for themselves and greatly increase the longevity of your pumping equipment.

With a control system that varies the pump speed in constant alignment with actual water consumption, you only pay for the pumping of water you need. As the pump is constantly monitored to give a constant output of pressure there are minor fluctuations within given tolerances which prevent water hammering in the system. The pump is also protected against dry running, all of which helps to greatly increase the life of your pump and system, reducing maintenance, service or replacement costs. Booster Set Packages Fixed Speed Sets

Fixed Speed Single or Multi Pump Sets that are fully packaged utilising WRc approved stainless steel pumps with automatic sequencing. Suction & discharge manifolds in 304 grade stainless steel with isolating and non-return valves on all pump branches. Standard control panels utilising indication luminaries for run, tripped, power on and low water alarm.

Variable Speed Sets

Variable Speed Single or Multi Pump Sets are fully packaged and designed using WRc approved stainless steel multi stage pumps. Incorporating dedicated motor-mounted inverters, configuration can be up to eight pumps communicating with each other on one system.

304 grade stainless steel suction & discharge manifolds together with isolating & non-return valves per pump. Control panels incorporating pump duty sequence changeover. Indicating lamps for power on, low water level cut out. Individual volt free contacts for covering pump faults & low water level cut out.

Subterranean Packaged Pump Stations

These units are designed and manufactured to house a complete packaged cold water booster station in a below ground environment. Each unit will contain all the necessary equipment to provide the water supplies to all manner of building designs. One piece internal water storage is available from 1100 litres to 7500 litres. Larger capacities using additional interconnected chambers can be used. The typical arrangement of pump sets can be of twin or three pump design. Control panels including remote mimic monitoring are used incorporating volt free contacts to link into BMS for all pumps, sump pump & solenoid valve activation, high & low water level alarm conditions. Internal heating, forced ventilation & lighting.
