How to be an Approachable ParentMany parents have the issue of finding that their kids don’t trust or believe in them to an extent that they can come and talk to them about situations or problems. If you aren’t always around or are a single parent who works or shares custody, then all is not lost. To compensate just make sure you have a large level of interest in the life of your kids. Make the time you do get to spend with them their time, their issues and their support. This can be straining if done on a constant basic but even if you can set aside 30 minutes or 1 hour every time you get to see them or every weekend or even everyday of the week if possible then your kids are going to benefit from that stability in their live. Knowing that you are there to support them and there will be a time available for them to talk to you and confide in you.Get the security and stability aspects back into the lives of your children or simply work to improve them and you won’t need articles like this again.
