Maserati GranTurismo Sport: safety & personalization
Derived from the acclaimed GranTurismo, the new Maserati GranTurismo Sport is one of the most dazzling coupes ever built. The new front lights with integrated washers feature xenon technology provide superb visibility when headlights are dipped or on full beam. The Day Running Light System brightens a series of LEDs during the day to make the vehicle easier to spot. The new GranTurismo Sport also boasts new front parking sensors as standard, which are able to identify even the smallest obstacles. The Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) is also equipped as standard and, when the tire pressure is below optimal, the driver is warned through a light on the instrumental panel.
In the GranTurismo Sport the airbags have been improved with a dual stage technology up front whether new generation airbags have been implemented for passengers. A tremendous research and development has been placed in integrating the side bags into the new sport-profile seats in order to provide excellent results in crash tests.
Maserati offers a personalization program that is unique in its category and has been specifically developed to allow each client to create a made-to-measure car. Maserati is indeed devoted to the highest level of craftsmanship and attention to details which guarantee a wider selection of finishes and personalization. Among the bodywork colors available, client can opt for a variety of selections: two pastel tones, nine metallic, six special and three opaque. The leather upholstery can be also personalized as well as the color of the stitching. The interior combinations and finishes are even more extensive, where client can choose from Poltrona Frau Leather to Alcantara upholstery, stitching tinges and a variety of woods and carpets. The new Maserati MC Sport Line adds new contents and options to the brand’s already extensive range of personalized features. Designed to enhance the sporty DNA of Maserati vehicles, the MC Sport Line is particularly adapted for those clients who like to display their passion for racing through a dynamic look and technical solutions increasing the vehicle sportiness and driving experience. Carbon fiber options abound in the MC Line, such as the front and rear spoilers, door handles, rear view mirror casings, rear bumper aerodynamic fins and side skirting feature carbon fiber inserts, door panels, dashboard and central tunnel, electro-actuated gearshift palettes, instrumental dial covers featuring GranTurismo MC Stradale theme, gearbox control panel, steering wheel rim and interior trim also in carbon fiber. The exterior can be enhanced with carbon fiber tailpipes and Black Neptune wheel rims.
