Google Moves Back Up To 67% In Search
Google has once again gained steam and stayed the uncontested top search engine in America. In July, it was reported that the market share of Google had shot back to 67% after going down three months ago.
The analysis has displayed that Google would be up 0.3 points from June plus 0.2 percentage points from around July 2012.
Marissa Mayer had stated that search would be far from over, but Yahoo has gone down another low, going down 0.1 percentage points in July coming from 11.3 percent. As compared to July 2012, that would nearly be 2 percentage points less than 13 percent share.
And while it has taken place in the past month, Yahoo and Bing were merely trading the market share, Bing has not made a gain from the loss of Yahoo in July. The share of Bing has stayed the same from around 17.9 percent in June. This would be up more than 2 percent, though, since the 15.7 percent market share it possessed in July 2012.
Both Ask and AOL had gone down 0.1 percent in July, with Ask at around 2.7 percent plus AOL at 1.2 percent. Both would be down from this time in the past year, where Ask had 3.1 percent of market share plus AOL had 1.5 percent.
When it would come to Google powered organic searches in July, the search engine had remained steady from around June, with 68.6 percent of the searches. Bing has experienced a 0.3 percentage point increase at 27.1 percent of searches past July.
Data has displayed that there would be a total of 19.4 billion explicit core searches from July, with Google having a ranking of just under 13 billion (which was up 1 percent since the past month). Bing had come in second at 3.5 billion searches, up 1 percent in the past month.) Bing has come in second at around 3.5 billion searches which was up 1 percent since June, followed by Yahoo, which remained steady at around 2.2 billion.
Ask had gone down 2 percent in July from the past month at 516 million. AOL had also gone down, 5 percent, at around 239 million.
