Gift Ideas For The Person Who Has It All

by Stewart Wrighter

Every family has at least one member who is nearly impossible to shop for. A lot of time this is because they buy what they want when they want it, so there are no gift ideas left for everyone else to buy. In other cases they may not have a specific hobby or interest that lends itself to gift giving. Whatever the case, it can be a frustrating challenge to find the right gift for this person. You may need to opt for something practical, something unusual or something they need help with instead of an item. You are going to have to use some creativity to find the right gift for them. Start by thinking about practical items they may need around the home or in their garage. Consider compressed gas cylinders, cryogenic cylinders and other industrial items they may want or need.

If there are no objects like you can by someone, consider giving them a once in a lifetime experience. You can get tickets to a show, tickets to a major sporting event, or a trip somewhere that is somewhere they have always wanted to see. These gifts may be pricey, but if you attend the event with them, it can be a great shared experience you will remember forever. If you have a relative who is a football fan, treat them to a trip to the big game. If they are adventure seekers, you can plan a safari together in a far away land. There are plenty of options for those with all sorts of interests.

Consider lessons for the person who has it all. Maybe they have always wanted to do something or you just think an experience would be lot of fun for them. Flying lessons are an exciting way to help someone learn a new skill that they can go on to pursue or just lock away in the scrapbook forever. Other options like cooking lessons, horseback riding lessons or dance lessons are activities you can enjoy together. Each of these offers a great way to get out and meet new people, maybe get some exercise and do something you would not normally do.

If you know the hard to shop for gift recipient would like the company of an animal in their life, consider getting them an exotic pet. Anyone can adopt a puppy or kitten, but it takes a special someone to take in a boa constrictor or iguana. There are also a variety of birds that are unusual and unique. There are often special things to know about adopting exotic pets, so do your research in advance and be sure your recipient's lifestyle is suitable for their new pet before bringing it home.

Finally, consider giving your recipient a service. Life can be easier and more convenient if someone does your Christmas decorating, cooking or grocery shopping for you. You will wake up each morning knowing these tasks are done and you did not need to worry about finding the time for them. Also, you should consider the gift of professional tailoring. Your gift recipient will have a wardrobe of clothing especially custom-made for their body.
