Winning back your ex is possible and you will have a much higher chance if you can avoid making some of the most common mistakes.

(Note: This is a ficticious story. I am just using this story to illustate a point. Most men and women make the same common mistakes when trying to get their ex back.)

I recently met up with one of my friends. Let just call him Tom. As I have not seen him for 3 years, I am obviously quite interested in what he has been up to.

All the while, Tom has always be an optimistic and cheerful guy. So, I was quite curious when he doesn't seem like his usual self.

Well, he confided with me that he has just broken up with the love of his life. Let just call her Mary. After further probing, I realized that he has made 3 serious mistakes. If you are thinking of winning back your ex, avoid these mistakes as much as possible.

1) Don't Call Your Ex Over and Over Again

Obviously, Tom was quite upset and even a bit depressed after the break up. So he did what most men would do. He tries everything that he knows to save his relationship.

He keeps on calling Mary over and over again. It seems that Mary was trying to avoid Tom and never pick up the phone.

2) Harassing Friends of Your Ex

Because Tom couldn't get hold of Mary, he started to contact her close friends. He went around asking them about Mary. He wants to find out if Mary is seeing another guy.

3) Getting Drunk

One day, he just went to the bar and got drunk. And guess what he did. He started sending text messages to Mary. Messages that he would not have send if he has been sober. And guess what, he is only making the whole situation worse.

Winning back your ex is highly possible if only you know how to avoid some of the most common mistakes. It is also important to have a sound plan of action if you want to get your ex back.
