Is a reason because you can't deal with the people in your office laughing or wispering to one another about you. Is it because you are tired of being turned down for dates, or is it because you just want a good figure. Whatever the reason, write it down on paper. Write down all the reasons for wanting to lose weight. However small or big you think the reasons are.

Write down everything that we just talked about on a couple of different stickers, and make copies of them. Place those stickers all across and every corner of your house so you remember your weight loss goals everyday. Even stick them on your kitchen and refrigerator. These are the best places where you are most likely to be tempted to eat maybe junk food, and mess up your successful weight loss program.

2. Now it is time to set up some realistic goals that you can accomplish. To do this, you need to know your ideal body weight, and subtract this from your actual body weight. By doing this you can figure out the amount of weight you need to lose to obtain the kind of figure you want. The experts say that you can't lose more than 2 pounds per week. Try to figure out how many pounds you can lose a year from now. Remember to be realistic in your goals, because unrealistic goals have no purpose. Don't expect to achieve a geat figure within a month.

Once you have your goals ready, you now need to have some sort of motivation that will help you obtain your weight loss. What you should use to motivate yourself is the reasons behind your weight loss. If you want to look like your favorite actor or actress, you can hang some pictures of them around the house. Also hang your most recent picture of your current body weight. That should be enough to keep you motivated for successful weight loss.
