Keep your store neat and orderly at all times.<br>The next step is to have proper and threatening lighting. You do not want to turn your paying customers away, but you do want to deter theft. There are easy lighting techniques that can not only attract customers, but deter theft at the same time. Bright spotlights can highlight certain areas of your store, increasing sales in these areas. You also want bright lights or spot lights in areas that may not be readily viewable by an employee at the register.
