Spirituality Information: Eternal Beings Do Not Fear Death

by Richard Blackstone

All the spirituality information you gather keeps leading us to the conclusion that life is not a series of events but that life is a process. This expands your spiritual growth and allows you to free your vision and see life in a more unlimited manner. You take on the belief that you are, in fact, an eternal being.

Can you see how you might view your life differently if you were told this same story every day of your life? That your existence does not end when you physically die? That you are limitless in your potential and that you are free to create whatever you desire in fulfilling your life's intentions?

Can you see how viewing your life as a never-ending process would free you from the restrictions that you put upon yourself and allow you to believe that all things are possible? Does this sound like you could live your life with the ideals of true freedom instead of the limited freedom that is accorded you by living with the fear of dying always looming in the back of your mind?

Can you see how, by living within a paradigm of an eternal existence, you would no longer fear death? What a liberating concept that is. To no longer fear death. Wow! Think about that.

Let's go outside the box again. Let's think different thoughts. Let's get some revolutionary ideas out in front of us.

Just like all thoughts that go through our heads there are natural consequences to every thought that we choose to pursue and manifest.

The thought that says, “when we die we are dead and that is the end of our life” has the natural consequence of making us fear death. Why is that? Because we have been taught to fear the unknown. The one thing we know about death, as we view it from the paradigm of it being the end of our life, is that what happens after our physical death is unknown to us.

Now, we have lots of theories and speculations about what happens and where we go but we don't really know for sure. We have been told that nothing happens because once you die your existence is over, kaput, nada, nothing more about you.

We have been told that we may go before a judge to determine whether we are sent to a final destination of eternal bliss (heaven) or eternal damnation (hell). We have been told that we may have to go to a holding pen until our fate can be decided later (purgatory).

We have been told that we may even return to earth as a reincarnation. We might return as a man or a woman or a cow or a cat. We're not sure how that works.

All of these possible scenarios are just speculation because man is still trying to figure out the true nature of how things work. Until that happens, we are led to believe that what happens after death is unknown. It is unknown because we believe that the process of our existence ends with our physical death.

Once again, we are limited in our thinking because under our current belief system of birth, life, then death, we have limited our existence so that our life process ends with death.

Now let's take another perspective here. Let's change the way that we view physical death. We are going to examine this phenomenon from the point of view that life is a process but we are going to kick it up a notch and say that each of our lives is not only a process, but each of our lives is an eternal process.

Whoa! What was that word again? Eternal? Yes….. Eternal. Let's take a look at this phenomenon of our physical death from the standpoint that life is an eternal process and see how the natural consequences of believing that might affect our belief systems.

If we believe that God created the physical universe in order to know experientially all that she knows conceptually, and if we believe that we were created in order to experience in the physical plane all that God knows from the realm of the absolute, and if we believe that we, and everything that exists, are made up of the same essence, the same infinite intelligence, the same creative abilities, the same eternal nature of all that exists, and if we believe that love is at the core of our beingness, and that we are experiencing love from all of its different perspectives, then we must also believe that the three-part being that we are, the mind-body-spirit being that we are, is in a giant collaboration with God in God's quest to know itself.

We must believe that each and every one of us is part of this huge master plan that allows God to know itself as God in, as and through every experience that we create throughout our entire existence.

We must believe that this eternal connection with the source of our existence is just that, eternal. You are an eternal being because you were made in the image and likeness of your source.

The natural consequence of this knowledge is that you no longer have to fear death because there is no such thing for you. Yes, you change form, but you never die. You, my dear sweet beautiful bubble of biology, are eternal.
