The Legacy Of NJ Devils Tickets
The New Jersey Devils are a competent ice hockey team that is located in East Rutherford, New Jersey. They belong to the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference of the National Hockey League (NHL). The New Jersey Devils have been the winner of the Stanley Cup thrice, once in 1995, the second time in 2000, and again in 2003. The New Jersey Devils club was founded in Kansas City, Missouri in 1974. Then it moved to Denver, Colorado after two seasons. At last it settled in New Jersey in 1982. Under the supervision of the present general manager Lou Lamoriello, the New Jersey Devils have made the playoffs in 17 out of 19 seasons. After settling in New Jersey, the team has been playing their home games at the Continental Airlines Arena.
From the time of Jacques Lemaire's term, the team has been known to be a defense-first team. Jacques has put in a system called neutral zone trap in action. The aim behind this is to force the teams turn over the puck in the neutral region which finally leads to a defense. This method of playing along with very poor ratings in the television accused the team of making NHL a bore to watch. Inspite of the strong criticism, the Devils met with success. Later on players of the status of John Madden, Scott Gomez, Brian Gionta, and Patrik Elias laid major emphasis on speed.
The logo used by The New Jersey Devils is a monogram made of the English alphabet letters "N" and "J". These letters have two devil horns placed at the top of the letter "J" along with a sharp tail at the base. The logo is red in color with a a black outline. It perches inside an open black circle. The present team has both home and road jerseys in the colors red, black and white. The present home jersey was the team’s road jersey previously and vice versa. It is mostly red in color with three black and white stripes placed across each arm and the waist. The road jersey has a similar design on a white base. The stripes are of black and red color. Prior to 1993, the team’s uniforms were green and red in color having slightly different stripes. The same one exists today.
The mascot used by the Devils at present is a 7-foot tall devil. This mascot entertains the fans, signs autographs, takes part in games at the break, skates on the ice and gives high fives to the crowd. This is one of the reasons why NJ devils tickets are so popular.
