Finally Let Go of Your Problems
If you feel disconnected from the world or have doubts that there is something bigger, then you can open your heart and mind to the connection you, I and everything in the world have. The thought of controlling nothing and letting go can be so scary when you have grown accustomed to the seeming control people have over themselves, others and life. <br><br>I say "seeming control" because there are moments when it occurs to all of us that we control nothing and can only accept reality and hope for the best, which is scary but when accepted it can be liberating.<br><br>Identifying the barriers that stand in your way and learning new techniques to deal with them is empowering. As the old saying goes, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again while expecting different results. Try a new way of being.<br><br>Researching the Tao and the Taoist principles will highlight some of the pitfalls of life and give you the wisdom to avoid them if you choose to practice it. While peace may seem like an impossible state of being, there are those who have found it and live in harmony with the world around them. Do not be afraid to reach out for the knowledge and believe in another way of being.<br><br>Stand back and take a long look at your life and it is no surprise that at this time in the world more and more is expected from all of us. Mothers in particular can take way too much on and forget about their own well being to devote themselves to their families.<br><br>While feeling out of control can be stressful we all have to find a way to let go. This is harder for some than others depending on their personality traits and other factors. It is more than likely some of you are identifying with these words and know who you are but do not know how to change it. Well, the first step is recognizing that there is a problem at all. If you recognize yourself and realize that these physical reactions are happening to you, reach out for help. <br><br>Maybe now is the time to simplify your life. This does not mean you shut down, move to the mountains and meditate but you can incorporate some of the Tao into your life. For instance you can spend some time in nature. You can choose to let the world spin without you and let go of other people's problems for a moment. They will happen whether you are involved or not, so be the example instead of trying to fix people. <br><br>Trying to solve other people's problems is a thankless job that will cause you extra stress and in most cases we only make things worse by forcing ourselves in.
