Shine a light on the party guests and a shadow will be created on the wall. Another party guests traces the outline of the party guests sitting in the chair. Groundhog Bean Bag Toss. Cut several holes in a piece of cardboard, plywood, or a piece of wood. Similar to basketball, when holes are cut out of the board, the bean bags can be tossed in from a distance away. Top hats are commonly worn at the Groundhog day ceremony, therefore, placing several top hats on the floor and tossing brown bean bags at the hats is an easy substitute.
Bust The Balloon. The groundhog is hiding again and must be found before it is too late. Place a small piece of paper with an image of a groundhog on it. The player who can pop the balloon with the groundhog image inside is the winner. Place a couple dozen balloons on the floor and let the party guests have at it.
