Noah Cyrus Is Not Designing Lingerie
Agent Provocateur's New World Order line of sexy lingerie can be considered something more like sexy superhero costumes. The line is certainly something we'd imagine to be Superhero lingerie. The series of imaginative undergarments have starring players of "The Bullet," "Elmira" and "Nymphette."
Suicide Girls attended Comic-Con this year. For those of you unfamiliar, Google them. The Suicide Girls have an unfair advantage to the other diehard cosplayers at the convention, namely, because it's their job to be hot with or without their sexy cosplay costume. Frankly, they're not even wearing costumes in their published materials. Disney tweens Noah Cyrus and Emily Grace Reaves were to have been rumored on collaborating a kiddie lingerie collection. Perez Hilton, famed gossip columnist posted on his blog about the sexy lingerie line for kids. The clothing line, from Ooh! La, La! Couture is not not a line of lingerie and also not designed by Noah Cyrus, 9-year-old sister of Miley Cyrus. The line is endorsed by Noah, and named after her friend, sometime Disney actress Emily Grave Reaves, who is also 9 years old.
Perez Hilton incorrectly reported that "Miley Cirus Sis, 9, Launches Kiddie Lingerie Line" The two youngsters are not launching a racy lingerie line, but are actually releasing rendy, sweet yet edgy designs for young girls and teens up to a size 14. The collection is to have some petticoat inspired skirts, dresses, and other versatile styles which can be worn with ballerina slippers of trainers, or paired with lace stockings and boots for a more rock and roll look.
The tiny actress was recently scorned for attending a Halloween party dressed in a black lace-up mini dress with PVC knee-high boots. Judging parents deemed this sexy costume too much for a 9-year-old. However, the clothing company which was founded in 2004 by Annie Dugourd and Jennifer Routunno arguably stand by their dresses as shimsical clothing for children. The clothes and dresses are not lingerie and Noah Cyrus has nothing to do with the design of their collection. Noah Cyrus, as stated by her publicist is only a fan and wearer of the line.
Ms. Dugourd does report that The Emily Grace Collection was inspired by the 9-year-old actress Emily Grace Reaves. They were introduced to each other by Emily's PR agent. So where did everyone get the idea this was a lingerie line for children? The blame points to a video posted on CocoPerez.com titled Emily Grace Reaves & Miley are Ooh! La, La Girls. Emily is wearing a leopard print dress with what appears to be fishnet stockings and fingerless gloves.
Ooh! La, La! Couture makes only dresses. The gloves, leggings or accessories that the starlettes have been pairing with the designs are out of the designer's control. Although Noah Cyrus raised eyebrows with her sexy Halloween costume, and danced along to risqué songs, this is in no part representation of the line and what they stand for. The designers stand firmly behind their statements that these clothes are not lingerie. So much for lingerie for kids!
