A Quick Look at Information Technology

I am taking the liberty of admitting that the informationtechnology field is every day changing and growing. This said I will express my opinions of what thesetechnology changes are doing as a society in my opinion. I believe we have gotten very dependant upon the systemshousing information and just how they flow together, tokeep us all in touch with each other. This is a vast fieldof technologies working together, often spanning severalnetworks to get a message from one person in one place ortown, and sending it as fast as possible onwards to the recipient, whether that be a person or a machine. We Havehard wired devices, and now we have wireless devices thatcan keep us connected to the rest of the world often withno discernable lag. I believe the technology is thus a hugeleap ahead of even 100 mere years ago, when to get some upto date information from one side of the world to the otherwas a huge task. Modern information technology uses many integrated systemsthat include systems underground, above ground, in the veryair, and going about the globe in space systems that caneven pinpoint where a person is within a few inches, thishas i believe made for a much safer and closer knit worldsociety than we have had, and continues to provide a growthinspired mentality. I think we are evolving because of the closeness we can now achieve to therefor learn more aboutfar away places, this will bring many closer to work togetherto make more information systems and technologies that can link us to any conceivable bit of information in the planetone day is what I believe, even to the point of being ableto near instantly train or teach any new information or technology by direct mental stimulation or connection. Ibelieve we are still the ultimate in the sense of limitlessadaptability, so for many generations I believe we will continue to see many marvels that one generation dreams asimpossible, and yet the next brings into very being. Iam inspired by the events of the last few decades, as ithas shown me that the sharing of ideas and information hasresulted in a closer community in the world, where people from all over can work on projects as one, even if they neverhave physically met. I appreciate that we can view, see,hear from far distances, and that technology let me sharemy opinions with you today, for example. I am using a phoneline, to connect to the Internet which is just a bigger lineconnecting bigger computers together really. Some areconnected on various capacity of cabling, to produce the effect of more roads for the data to travel through. Thehi speed cable, Isdn, wireless etc all use faster meansto transmit and receive data, be it sound, words, orvideo. Thank you, Have A Great Day
