Television over the years has taken a great number of forms from the old days of analogue Black and White, through the launch of colour television to the latest technologies known as Digital Television (DTT). DTV uses digital modulation data, which is digitally compressed and requires decoding by a specially designed television set, or a standard receiver with a set-top box, or a PC fitted with a television card.
The purpose of this article is to take a look at what is on offer with the new generation of Flat Screen Televisions available and in this case the television in particular is the MSI D310.
The D310 is a 2in LCD and these TV's at present can be found in the region of 125 pounds sterling or 250 US dollars. The screen resolution is not applicable here as the overall size of the screen is too small and with regards to being HD Ready the answer is no. The MSI has no scart connections scarts and the type and number of Multimedia interfaces the D310 uses is HDMI and no connections are available. The type of Tuner for this TV is Digital and the MSI is available from limited outlets only.
