Internet Marketing Made Easy Part 1

by Adam Boulton

Today, many people are turning to the internet to make money, be it a small supplemental income, or a full time business. The internet can be a great place to start building a personal business, but with so many options available, and so many avenues to generate income from, it can be a very overwhelming process to newcomers. So where do you start? Hopefully this article will point you in the right direction. There’s probably a few reasons you decided to take your money making ventures online. Most people fall into one of these categories:

1. You would like to earn more income to supplement your 9-5 job. You don’t have a lot of time, but you’d still like to earn extra money. 2. The current job you’re in does not provide any fulfillment and you don’t want to work for a boss anymore. You’ve heard about people making a living online, but you just don’t know where to start. 3. You’ve already tried many offline and online business opportunities, be it MLM’s or affiliate marketing. You’ve found little success with these and you realize that you need some help.

If you fall into any of these categories then please continue reading.

Most people that work full-time with a standard 9-5 will tell you they are unhappy with their jobs. They will tell you they don’t make enough money, they dislike their boss, they grow tired of “work drama,” and for the most part they just don’t have enough time or money to do the things they really enjoy in life. You might fall into this group. However, starting a new online business can be very scary. Human beings are naturally drawn to things that relate to safety and security. And starting an online business can definitely take someone out of their comfort zone. Don’t fret, because you are not alone. You need to build confidence in yourself and in your new business. There are many ways this can be achieved, but here are some basic tips that can help get you started:

- Educate yourself as much as possible about every opportunity you’re interested in. Doing so will not only give you a better feel for the opportunity at hand, but will also prepare you for more “involving” ventures in the future once you get more comfortable.

- Manage your time wisely. I cannot stress this enough. I have found that people either get burnt out too early, or they get bored because they don’t spend enough time with their new business. When I first started my internet business I spent countless hours in front of the computer, ignoring my family and hobbies. I was obsessed, and after a month I was completely burnt out. I took the next 2 weeks off, and it made all the difference in the world. Now, I’m not suggesting you take 2 weeks off every month, but if you schedule your time wisely, you won’t have to. Make a daily schedule, be generous with breaks (I’m not kidding), and if you feel like you’re working too hard or not enough, adjust accordingly.

- Try not to go overboard with buying new products or into new business opportunities. The last thing you want to do when starting out is add stress by spending more than you’re able to. If you follow these 3 simple tips, you are automatically leaps and bounds ahead of the game.
