In Business, The Shortcut Is The Longest Way
I have been involved in sales, both online and off for more years than I care to think at times. But I love it.
Of all the things I have learned, (I try for something new each day) one stands out more than any other, if you do not learn this you will never succeed in any sales or marketing role.
People rarely commit to a purchase of anything at the first offer. Proven Fact!
A professional sales person has to be prepared to go back to their prospect with an improved offer or another benefit not discussed previously. It has been proven time and time again that many sales are not made until after the seventh proposal has been presented.
It is also universally accepted that over 96 per cent of the sales commissions around the world are earned by only 4 per cent of sales people.
Why?
Because the elite do nothing more than persist.
Persistence will always overcome resistance. Proven Fact!
They follow up until the end, and that is what you must do if you want your share of that 96 per cent of commissions. It sounds easy, because it is. A negative answer from your prospect is more often than not just a disguised request for more information, so give it to them.
What makes that impossible is if you don’t capture your lead information at the start.
Without that you have a mere 3 seconds to impress the heck out of your visitor before they click onto the next site. Believe it.
So, how do we get to follow up persistently?
You need an autoresponder; you simply cannot run any online business without one. There are a couple of very popular services that will do a very good job for you at a cost of only peanuts, I user Aweber because it just works, and it’s so easy.
I urge you to take their offer of a demo seriously, and immediately, because without it you’re going nowhere.
The results you get from adopting this new approach will guarantee you a better strike rate, save you so much stress and heartache, and safely generate more money for you.
If you’re serious about making an income online you need to do this now, or just go back to your day job.
