Exercise bike – workout for strengthening of your heart

Exercise is not only for losing weight and getting good shape , what you get is also a stronger and healthier body. That great reason brings on the result in popularity of exercise machine at home. One of the most simple and affordable exercise machine that can be easily fitted in almost every house is the exercise bike or so call the stationary bike.

It is very compact and need little space compared to the other exercise machines. Easy installation and simplicity of its function is the plus to make it more convenient and desirable than other complex exercise machines that need more instruction and precaution to use.

Many types of exercise bikes are available on market today designed to support different customer’s need. Some models are suitable for fitness and stamina training and some are for stretching and strengthening muscles. There are 3 major types of exercise bikes available as following.

1. the recumbent type that allows the bikers to lean on to the backrest and pedal forward in a relaxing posture. It is suitable for people who suffer from back pain due to less stress on the spine during cycling. Recumbent bikes give great benefit for lower body and cardiovascular workout . they are efficient for endurance training and physical therapy. 2. The upright bike has an adjustable saddle in vertical level. Bikers sit on the upright position that allows using their body weight while cycling. It is practical as a warm up equipment. 3. The indoor bike or so called the spinning machine are the most common alike riding a bicycle. Bikers are also able to pedal backward that put more exercise to the back part of your leg muscles.

Most of the exercise bikes can be adjusted to your desired resistance so that you can vigorously workout as if you are biking up hill ,moderate it like you are on the flat land , or even loose down to almost free spin like you are riding it down hill. They offer low-impact but heart-pounding workout and the ability of adjusting to the limit of each cyclist. Not only help you lose extra pounds and get slimmer they also help strengthening your heart. Most of all, they are very affordable amongst those kinds of exercise machines.
