Who is the Lamb of God?

by Tim Freeman

There is a question the Jehovah's Witnesses are not willing to answer about the Lamb of God in the New Testament, which is, who is the Lamb? Is He a Spiritual Divine Savior or is He a savior or deliverer like Moses, the Judges, etc.? One thing for sure He is saving us spiritually, not physically, and Jesus is a Spiritual Divine Savior, not a physical human savior as 'agents' are in the Old Testament. God made it perfectly clear there is only One Spiritual Divine Savior, as in Isaiah 45:21-22. He said, "A righteous God and a Savior, there is none except Me." So, therefore, God is the only Spiritual Divine Savior in this passage. So, if that is the case, then who is Jesus? Some Witnesses who are baffled about this subject would either avoid this question or they would say there are saviors all over the Old Testament, so the 'One Savior' is actually meaningless to them and their beliefs. Yet other Witnesses would deny Jesus as Savior and say only Jehovah is the only true Savior. All saviors are not the same, as I pointed out, and the Spiritual Divine Savior should never be brushed off as meaningless, otherwise we will not be saved spiritually. And, Jesus was the One who died on the Cross, not the Father, so only through Jesus will we be saved from our sins spiritually. So, if God said there is only One Savior in Isaiah 43:10-13, Isaiah 45:21-22 and Hosea 13:4, then the Messiah who is our Spiritual Divine Savior and who washes away our sins by dying on the Cross has to be God, not a man. And, don't forget there is a rule made by God, that there are no other gods besides Him, so, if Jesus is 'a god' according to the Witnesses' beliefs, not God as we believe, then the Witnesses who are breaking God's rule will not be saved and will have to suffer the consequences for attacking God the Son's deity as a Spiritual Divine Savior. Revelation 21:22 states what John said about the Temple. He said "I saw no Temple in it, for the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb are its Temple." We all know the Lord God the Almighty is the Father, and the Lamb is the Son, no doubt. So, can the Witnesses explain how the Father and the Son be only One Temple in this Bible passage, not two temples? If They are only one Temple, then this means They are One, not two separate deities, like God and 'a god' in the Witnesses' beliefs. Also, the word Temple defines as 'a structure of worship', so the Father and the Son ARE ONE structure of worship. Hence, if they are one structure of worship, then they are to be worshipped together as ONE in this passage. It is silly to believe Jesus was given 'obeisance' all over the New Testament of the WatchTower Bible, while the Devil, the Dragon, the Beast, the Image and the Demons were (or are going to be) numerously worshipped all over their same New Testament. No doubt, the Devil and his agents are glorified in this corrupted bible while Jesus was given a mere image of a man in the same NWT bible published by the WatchTower. How many more prophecies are the WatchTower governing body going to make to mislead their followers before the followers finally say enough is enough? Numerous prophecies came and went un-fulfilled and yet somehow the followers still blindly believe in their prophets and somehow think it is okay that the prophets were false and misleading. Jesus said in Mathew 7:15 "Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves." In Mathew 24:11-12 Jesus said, "Many false prophets will arise and mislead many. Because lawlessness is increased, most people's love will grow cold." That describes the Jehovah's Witnesses fairly and accurately well when it comes to their false prophets, the lack of love between the followers and their lack of love for Jesus. After the rich man called Jesus "Good Teacher", He said in Luke 18:19 , "Why do you call Me good? No one is good except God alone." Jesus said in John 10:11, "I am the Good Shepherd; the Good Shepherd lays down his life for the sheep." Are these two passages conflicting each other? Not necessarily, Jesus asked the rich man why he called Him Good, because He was trying to point out the picture to His followers that He is Good. The Good Shepherd explains that He is Good just like the Father, because they both are God, not two separate deities that God so clearly wants us to avoid in our beliefs. Another interesting belief which came from the WatchTower's twisted rhetorics is the belief that Jesus had to have a beginning, so therefore he must have been created by the Father. Such nonsense came only from cold-hearted men who want to attack Jesus and mislead their followers. Jesus never had a beginning, but Jesus himself said in Revelation 22:13, "I am THE BEGINNING and The End." Such twisted rhetorics coming from the WatchTower should be listened to carefully, because they are false and misleading. I try to make a point that the Jehovah's Witnesses' beliefs are too convenient when they come up with all kinds of blindly unbelievable and imaginative rhetorics just to support their cause, which is attacking (not believing or loving) Jesus. These beliefs are what I call too wishy-washy, which I explain as wishing it one way, then washing it away the other way. Anyone who believes the WatchTower's nonsense has got to be abnormal and totally blind. A reasonable person would believe their twisted information is too wishy-washy and too far-fetched for any normal person to believe in. If a Witness blindly ignores this view, then he or she is in a cult, and should get out of it fast.
