A Typical Cannabis Seed Journey
How do they get to you?
If like many people, you are a keen cannabis seed collector, you will be interested to know the journey your little seeds take in order to make it to your letter box. They don't grow legs and walk, they don't get caught on a breeze and naturally cross the waves and land at your house. No they are growing, developed and delivered using a highly sophisticated logistical network.

Birth

Cannabis seeds are grown in all sorts of locations around the world. Some legally and some illegally. Depending on what sort of strain you have chosen and the online store you picked top buy from, your seeds could come from as far away as Mexico or Thailand. They may be born on a plant growing wild then harvested by locals or they may be grown in a big greenhouse in Amsterdam. Wherever they are grown they will be measured and tested and checked for disease and stuff so that when they get to you they are in tip top condition. They will have also gone through a genetic breeding process to ensure that it will have the potential to deliver all the characteristics promised.

Transport

You will probably be surprised to hear that these controversial seeds are not smuggled in on a boat in the dead of night or flow in and dropped on a remote island before a shadowy figure appears through breaking waves atop an old military submarine that sets a boat ashore before disappearing below the waves again with its shady cargo on board. No cannabis seeds are usually sent by regular mail. This is because they are legal in most countries to buy, sell and transport between countries.

Central Hub

Sometimes depending on where you have bought them from you will find that your seeds are collected at a central shipping point or the offices of your chosen cannabis seeds distributer. They will then be sorted and packaged in their specific container that marks them with their name and strain family. They are then put in a discreet packaging system that usually consists of a sealed section that makes sure no smell can escape (not that they smell at all), then they are put in something that makes it very hard to tell what is inside the package and finally put in some envelope or box which has no cannabis style markings on it so your neighbours don't know what you're getting delivered. From seed bank to retailer to you and no one is any the wiser.

And that's it, they will come through normal mail or recorded delivery and arrive with you quite often the day after you order them.
