The Success Mindset Vol. 3

by keith Londrie

Hello and welcome back! Hopefully you've been doing the following things everyday: - Setting and completing small tasks (goals). - Not letting failure creep into your subconscious. - Relaxing each muscle completely at bedtime and when you awake. - Keeping a journal and reflecting daily.

If you've been good and are keeping up with your tasks, you should be noticing some definite changes by now. When I first created the program, by week 3 I noticed how much easier expressing my emotions were, and in fact realizing how I felt at certain times. Many people walk around all day with a cloud of laziness, confusion, or denial from their feelings. However with these simple exercises you can overcome anything.

I will now give you the ultimate exercise in mapping your brain for success. I want you, while you're done writing in your journal at night, create two lists. On the left hand side you will write FAILURE, and on the right hand side right SUCCESS. Each and every thing you did today, put into one of those categories. By doing this you can utilize writing to communicate with your subconscious.

There are many type of knowing, and one of them is conscious. Of course you know you forgot to buy milk, but how does your subconscious deal with that information? Our second brain, the super brain is overloaded with millions of facts every day. Some say we retain all that information, but because of the massive amount of information we receive daily, most of it is stored and labeled as unimportant. So how do you know that anything you felt bad about reaches your subconscious?

That is why you write these two lists, and take your time. While you are writing make sure you focus! From the previous days of relaxing yourself and reflecting, you should be building heightened concentration and focus! Use these new tools you have to your advantage. And don't take my word for it, try it yourself!

After you've mapped your subconscious, the two of you will get to know each other better. At this point you should be feeling deeper, more substantial emotions. As you map your way to success remember the most important thing while you do the above exercise. While you?re putting things in their categories (fail/success), don?t forget these two things.

Number one, try to remember each and every little success and failure you had throughout the day. This is very important. You must be very thorough! Your subconscious will start to realize you?re making an effort to communicate with the super computer like brain inside you. The problem isn?t that you are separate from your sub conscious or that you're one person and that thing is another person. It's because of the massive amount of information we receive on a daily basis. It?s hard for your subconscious to understand what you actually want, and motivate you to get achieve goals.

Number two, while you're writing the good and bad things you did for the day, after each item is place, make sure you say something along the lines of I like that, that?s good, I want more good successes. When you're writing about failures try not to focus too much on it at first. Focus more and identifying with success. You don?t want to subconsciously associate these exercises with failure!

Last but not least, when you're done with the list throw it away and never look at it again. Unlike a journal which you use to keep records, you want your subconscious to understand that these are exercises to increase communication between brain hemispheres and your true goals. You want to be able to, in the future, to set a goal and KNOW you will achieve that goal, because everything in your brain is working FOR you instead of AGAINST you.

In the next series I'm going to finish it up with a proper way to set a goal. For now keep doing those exercises and until next time, live, breathe, and dream success!
