The Mystique of Kirby Vacuums
It has been 100 years since the Kirby Vacuum Company was created. Jim Kirby originally invented his version of a vacuum cleaner, which pushed dirt into a bag, in 1907. More than 70 countries throughout the world today recognized the Kirby vacuum brand as a world leader. Kirby vacuums have had many improvements over recent years. Three important and recent improvements include the TechDrive Variable Power Assist, which makes vacuuming easier, a new fan, partially designed by NASA, that is both tougher and stronger than fans of the past, and their HEPA 11 rated patented bag system.
One of Kirby’s new products is the Sentria system. There are 12 separate machines built into one unit with this system. Almost any home cleaning job can be done by this machine. Shampooing carpets, vacuuming, buffing floors, and other cleaning jobs are all within the realm of capability. For a vacuum that will do most any cleaning job, the Sentria is a great choice. Being able to do so many things with one machine is a strong bonus. Because clean air is important to most people, the HEPA 11 rating is also a bonus. High price, and the weight of the vacuum are detriments, however, and it may not be right for everyone.
Since their beginning, Kirby vacuums have come a long way and seen many advancements. While these vacuums have been available for many years, there seems to be no danger of them fading out; they have a strong future.
